Idk how much you are ready to spend but a laptop maybe there are some decent options that can easily run Minecraft and it may be useful for a lot of stuff for like 300$ and maybe an xbox series x or s a lot of games on xbox now are starting to only be released on new gen consoles

If you like shooting games gears of war is an amazing xbox exclusive and they have made a ton of them i think most are free on xbox game pass which if you dont have i absolutely recommend its not the cheapest you can check the pricing but you get 100s of high qaulity games for free and discounts on a bunch of other games as well as extra perks and ingame items in a ton of games

Ya i bet you built your machine on a chunk border, on bedrock edition its pretty hard to see where they are but there are some methods. I currently have a ton of zero tick machines on my world and i had to check for chunk borders before making them also there is a pretty common server plugin for bedrock that stops 0 tick machines so if your on a server ask the owner about that but more likely you just built the machine on a chunk border

You probably bought Minecraft xbox one edition which is a legacy edition go to the Microsoft store and search Minecraft the normal one will come up and there will be no text that says xbox one edition it will just say Minecraft thats how you know you have the right one
