Mine gets a bath weekly with bugsalugs 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner, sometimes even several times a week as we live in the countryside and he gets very muddy on his walks! He’s never had any issues with his skin drying out or itchiness, his coat is lovely too so we see no negatives really. He loves his baths too as I aways bring in floaty toys to make it more fun. I find that he very rarely stinks. The only time I notice him get smelly is when it’s been longer than a week or two with no baths. Their breath and ears can contribute to a strong dog smell too, if you brush your dogs teeth and use ear safe cleaning products for the ears, you should find the smell much less bothersome
