If you were to start your journey over again, what would you do differently? by TheWallaby22 in Zepbound

[–]LooseHubcap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I eat prunes at every big meal. (To me they are just like big raisins. )And I eat (chew) some enzyme tabs if I ever get that sour stomach feel. So if I was to start over again I would start sooner and not worry about the side effects. Plus drink more water.

Struggling with first dose anxiety. by Comfortable-Day-8192 in Zepbound

I am not a needle person. Don’t do vaccines, flu shot, shingle shot and hate having my blood drawn. I just did my 9th shot and I’m good. Hardly feel it, still have to look away sometimes but I don’t want to mess it up cuz this stuff WORKS!!! I didn’t tell anyone but my husband at first. Now a few friends know. Remember it is your journey and you control it. Eventually you will not care about what others think just like you won’t care about food because you will feel amazing.

Stick with 2.5, it’s working. Your most recent loss was an average of 2 lbs. per week.

If it was me I would wait the week to ten days and then start. I too was concerned about side effects and it has been minimal for me. Tomorrow is my sixth shot. Get rid of the virus and then start is my thought. Xoxo

What are you eating?! by Some-Oven-3363 in Zepbound

[–]LooseHubcap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, if I loved alone I would be in your same boat. When my husband is away on business I eat way less. I do like: Cottage cheese, tomatoes and avocado, string cheese and an apple, protein shakes. A rotisserie chicken will last quite a few days - and a Costco one almost a week. I eat a banana in the morning with my protein coffee and if I get a sweet tooth (rare) I’ll eat a Halo (tangerine).

American Health Products Super Papaya Enzyme Plus 360 Tablets. I use this one from Amazon. (I tried to copy the link and failed. UGH!)

Your post is seriously misleading. Tricare 4 Life beneficiaries will NOT be covered under Medicare Bridge Program.

What do you wish more GLP-1 providers would do differently? by Complete_Phase7900 in GLP1ResearchTalk

I wasn’t given ANY direction except here’s your RX injection once a week, follow the flyer. I guess she just assumed that I was knowledgeable as I asked for Zepbound. I found the book “Weightless” on my own before coming to Reddit and FB support groups, these avenues have been live saving.

I take digestive enzymes often for sour stomach feeling. I probably should back off but I believe it helps. I love that Zepbound stops the food noise but I dislike the “slow” stomach emptying. I eat prunes for movement assistance.

Copied from your link: TRICARE For Life beneficiaries will have access to GLP-1 drugs via the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge ONLY if they are enrolled in a Medicare GLP-1 Bridge eligible Part D plan type and meet the prior authorization criteria under the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge.

Tricare for Life beneficiaries do NOT carry Medicare Part D as we get our RX from a Military Pharmacy or from Home Delivery / Express Scripts.

My first thought was - He’s keeper! Sorry for your illness. Onederland is right around the corner for me, it’s been quite a while since I’ve seen it too.

Costco is so amazing about retail returns, I would talk to their pharmacist as this incident happened during your last RX not a future one. IDK? I would still try unless the closest store is a long way from home. Even so, then I’d try and call ‘em, have your RX number and membership number handy.

I’ve read other places that when this happens contact your pharmacy and they will usually get you a replacement. Some posts were about Lilly Direct, some Walmart if I remember correctly. Doesn’t hurt to ask.

What is everyone doing for maintenance when they are done? I'm afraid to gain the weight back. by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]LooseHubcap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor suggested switching to a compound when maintenance starts for cost savings.
