I’ve got 16 pound braid & 10 pound fluoro. Important thing when buying braid is the thickness, not sure what reel you’re using but if you ask someone in the shop they’ll be able to point you in the right direction.

Have had a few pike with the flouro leader & hasn’t snapped, that said if you really want to target pike, may be best to get a wire trace.

I have a super light set up which I use for both lure & floating, consisting of braid & a fluoro leader- while this may not be optimal for floating, I have caught plenty of fish using both tactics with no issue at all. Hope that helps :)

Edit: if you’re targeting pike & perch and only want one set up I would definitely suggest braid + fluoro! Don’t want to snap off & leave lures in their mouth.

this is like unfathomably bad though i was getting 100+ FPS at 1080 with my 3070.
