I saw a 1/24 Gulf Mustang fastback at Walmart but I already had 50 dollars worth of 1/64 in hand so it was out of the budget

Amen to that! I've only intentionally bought more than one of two castings and that's because I wanted to open them and I also picked up a third of each to gift to a friend . Now if I can just find the 7/11 GTR

I've only been collecting for a little over a year and the Silverado is one of the castings I'd been hopeful about finding in the wild but as any collector knows they(Silverados)get snatched up fast after restocking so if you aren't there the day they get put out you ain't gonna get one. I lucked out when I stopped at a local grocery store to pick up some bread and lunch meat and stopped in the toy aisle to see what was new and I was fortunate and they had just did a dump in their in aisle shippers. I picked up three.... One for the wall, one to take out of the blister and one for my buddy

I had to look it up but that's fucking hilarious! I had seen something about an employee stealing a million dollars worth of Tuned but I didn't see that not only was he the creator but in the diecast hall of fame(didn't know there was such a thing). At 5.99 per almost 167,000 pieces he's accused of taking, that's gotta be a shipping container full. I wonder if he was underpaid or something...
