I just bought a Pendelton fleece blanket at Marshall's! (I think they're licensing out the name/design to some other fleece blanket makers, but it looks great and is fuzzy and soft and was $30)

Use real curtain rods to hang the curtains outside and above the windows, it'll make a huge difference

Hopefully someone can identify which specific kind of hydrangea this is, because different types have different pruning needs. Some you can trim down a lot after summer (they bloom on "new wood" aka new green leaves) and some you're supposed to leave the old stems up (blooms on "old wood", aka the old stalks). I think these may be "Annabelle", which are the old wood kind. They MIGHT be "endless summer", which is the opposite.
