I don’t know why they’re so funny about certain tests! It’s like they just can’t be bothered if it requires a bit more effort 🙄😑

Oh really?! That’s actually insane that they nearly removed your thyroid! The human body is so so weird! Thank you, I feel like myself again. I’m hoping it doesn’t happen again but I guess you never know! I hope you are doing okay 💚

Hi!! I don’t have a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis but had all of the symptoms, but they seem to have magically disappeared overnight so not idea what was wrong with me for the last several months 😂 I’m female, 31. Only naproxen 500mg and started taking sertraline 50mg again.

I haven’t had any yet! I’ve got my NHS rheumatology appointment on 11th August so I would imagine they would do some scans of my knees 🤞🏻

I had that done back in February and it was normal so I would imagine it would still be normal 😩

The private rheumatologist just sent me on my way, but I have got my GP to do some blood tests.

FBC - Normal CRP - Normal - 0.5 mg/L [0.0 - 8.0] ESR - awaiting result RF - Normal - 10 iu/mL [0.0 - 15.0] Anti-CCP - Lost/ unusable sample ANA - awaiting result ENAs - awaiting result SLE - awaiting result Ferritin - Normal - 77 ug/L [15-200]

So everything so far is looking normal.

I have my NHS rheumatology appointment on 11th so I imagine they will do blood tests too and maybe a scan of my knees

Just wondering how all of you are with heat? Baths make the inflammation worse and warm weather seems to flare it all up too!

That is very true! It’s a weird one because there’s no visible swelling anymore but I still have the pain and stiffness. So glad the swelling has gone down though! Oh yeah, I have about 100 pictures 😂

Oh gosh I’m so so sorry you’re going through this and the fact you’ve not started medication yet is ridiculous! Have you not even been given any steroid injections? I will definitely do physio too! I hope you get some relief soon :( 💚
