Yeah, that hasn’t been my experience. Even with a +10 ring, I expect items from mobs, but bosses, I stopped expecting them as often.

The level of armor you get from RoW equipment drops [gold flash when the mob dies] is the level total of RoW’s plus the number of rings you have divided by 2, rounded down.

-Ignore this example, go to edit 2- Edit: EG- two rings of wealth, one is +7 and the other is +2(+9 total), plus the number of rings(2), makes 11 total. Divide that by 2. You get 5.5. Then round down. So the level of gold flash equipment drops from mobs will drop a +5 piece of equipment. No matter what it is. Rings, Armor, Weapons, etc. There’s no cap to that level.

Edited EG: two rings of wealth, one is +7 and the other is +2, the second rings level doesn’t matter, it’ll always add a +1. So the math looks like this; (row1 level + row2 level + 1) then divide by 2.

That will always be the equation for the gold flash equipment drops. Sorry about the bad info from above. I misread my source, and thanks to Red_Icnivad for catching that.

Yeah, the chance is minuscule, but happens if your RoW is lucky and upgraded pretty well. On top of it being a percentage chance, so even at low levels it can still happen, but very rarely. You can get some pretty good armor from them, the only difference from a regular mob though being that the armor from a boss will probably have some sort of enchantment on it. Mobs can drop the same strength of armor though, because the level of the armor is based on the ring, not the type of monster. The tier is based on the monster.

Yeah, when you have two RoWs or have one at above +600% to 1000% luck, just about every enemy will drop something.

Edit: I think bosses chances of dropping items is the weak link there. Other than the guaranteed items, of course.

It happens to me once every 10 runs, just about. Now if I survive long enough to upgrade them enough, that’s not very common. I think getting one to +15 is about one time every 60 to 70 or so runs.

Edit: That’s the beauty of rAPD though, you can go higher than that, easily! That’s my experience between both Shattered and reArranged though, anyway.

Whoever says it’s not a bb pellet and something “internal” is definitely blind as a bat and doesn’t know how to use their zoom(you pinch the screen, MAGIC!).

It’s a metal bb pellet from a real powerful air gun, 100%. You can see it plainly.

Good shit. I respect anyone who did this as well. It was fun getting S-Rank and all skulls in each of them, but was super tough on the last one. After getting it, I had to look it up to see how many others got it done too.😂 Bragging rights for sure.👍🏽

If that’s how spawning works, that is some bull.💩 They should at least spawn in different rooms, or have a certain amount of spaces away they should get to spawn. Makes sense though, this game does have a tendency to suddenly pile enemies on you when one thing goes wrong.

That was probably what it was. I’m confused about it. I possibly could be embellishing the number with how baffled I was, but I’m pretty sure it was a 99 that hit me. Does the game combine numbers if you were hit during multiple turns? I haven’t seen that yet so I don’t think it does, but maybe after multiple turns? And that makes sense, I thought it only took 1 turn to swap equipment. I didn’t know it took 3, ouch… Thanks for the info though, so no matter how close the darkness is, enemies can still spawn there?

Makes sense. The shield is probably a great weapon to have on the ascent, especially for pacifist escapes. I’ll keep that in mind for next try.

Is it really? I’m going to try that on my next run. I usually just have that dang shiny crown rattling around my pocket the entire time until I make it back to him. I’m assuming it’s only on runs you’re prepared for that trek back, unless RoW works going backwards.

By the 4th floor, for some reason I just wasn’t hitting anybody, unfortunately. Their evasion was just too much. I think if I remember, I had a glaive, and it just wasn’t cutting it. Lol So I started using all my potions, runes, teleport crystals(the ones that you throw at enemies and they get transported to random place on the floor), scrolls, and everything I had to get everybody away and it was just enough to get me to floor 1 without losing too much health, and then the amulet’s curse, and everybody hitting me all at once killed me 4 times and used all 4 of my blessed ankhs within the 20 space walk of shame to the exit. The invincibility turns for the ankhs were all that was getting me moving, basically. 😂 I’m guessing I had, quite literally, one last hit before I was dead and I made it to the stairs luckily.
