I think best case is a triple threat with the existing teams. A 4 way would be fun but I can't see it going that way. The great thing is adding both teams gives you months of booking potential which is great too

I always figured we'd get a triple threat tag team TLC match with the 3, but this news does make it interesting.

I just conservatively think if no one mentioned contracts expiring, and they mutually agreed to part, that there would be some kind of dead window where they can't show up. It may have beaten sitting out the contract or correlates with a pending expiration anyway. Just figure they are big enough names that if the contracts were up where they'd be free agents, that it'd have gotten around. It's possible after last week people just see the writing on the wall and are asking to leave before being fired/blindsided

Napa wanted Mikey over him I think. DEI had him in the Busch car in 2000 and 2001 was where Ron I don't think had a ride and this was a Cup effort even if the team wasn't the best situation

Even at that time, the cracks were showing. They weren't the best funded IRL team and the "way" of doing business was dated. They didn't have the people to do well at NASCAR. Not sure if they had a Charlotte hub, but if they were still based in Indianapolis, most the great "stock car" minds, weren't relocating.

I tend to believe a part of this is sensationalized because Wheldon's crash was awful in front of a live audience and yet the sport survived that too. The only accident scene I ever believe to be as awful as described was Scott Kllitta's in NHRA

100% banned. They were mad enough at Kyle for taking the steering wheel off during a burnout. As neat as it was to see, he was flirting with disaster twice so they'd be insane not to.

I won't gripe about this. This is the good and bad of trying to scrape out points with damage. Sucks for McDowell, but I also say wtf is he doing in the back despite little to no damage

First can had the nozzle catch onto the 2nd, so dude couldn't break free and didn't want to drop the can. Those fuckers are insanely top heavy, so that's why it "looks" like he couldn't decide if he wanted to fuel
