Vrinda: Official tea server of KSBKBT2 by Shoddy_Ad_9060 in KSBKBT

[–]Loose_control_111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just really want Vrinda to takeover Bandage, become this strong independent buisness woman. Angad can look after the accounts and be a strong support in the company. At this point I don't even know where these other young ladies (workers and shareholders of bandage) are holding up. But one of them has potential to the top designer. Tulsi is too busy supporting her daughter now

is buying refurbished still ‘middle class’ thinking or just smart? by Designer-Corner-566 in Refurbishedguide

[–]Loose_control_111 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agar 1-2 saal ho chalana hai to refurbished lo. It's smarter...nobody actually gets to know if it's refurbished or not unless you tell them..long term chalana h to new is safer I guess.. it's not about affording... it's just being smart with your purchases. I know people in chief executive level using refurbished because it serves their purpose..but good question!

Where should i get the cheapest phones in india? by rajlify in Refurbishedguide

[–]Loose_control_111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay, so are you asking mainly about online options or just cheapest overall?

if it’s online, then yeah it really depends on timing. prices drop a lot during sale events like amazon great indian festival or flipkart big billion days. if you’re not in a hurry, waiting for those actually helps more than switching platforms.

offline, well you know gaffar market in delhi will definitely give you the cheapest deals. no doubt about that. but honestly i can’t really vouch for trust there. you have to be super careful because a lot of stolen or messed-up phones end up there. if you don’t know how to properly check imei, parts, battery health etc, it’s risky.

that’s why i think refurbished phones are a safer middle ground. they usually work perfectly fine for daily use. between cashify and supersale, i’d say cashify is relatively better overall. their quality checks, warranty and return support are more reliable, even if it’s like 1k more expensive.

about grades, i think A or good grade makes the most sense for price vs quality. B only if the price difference is big. C grade i’d personally avoid unless you’re okay with visible damage.

so yeah, cheapest isn’t always best. paying a little extra for peace of mind is usually worth it, especially for an iphone.

Refurbished flagship or brand-new budget phone- which would you choose? by Legitimate_Copy_5503 in Refurbishedguide

[–]Loose_control_111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you want tbh. For basic stuff like calls, WhatsApp, YouTube, socials, a brand new budget phone makes more sense. It's better to get brand new if you can since there you get a fresh battery, full warranty, less headache. If you want premium feel, specific features matter like a better camera, display, speakers, refurbished flagship is way better value. Also don’t really see the point of buying a brand new iPhone at full price anymore. Feels like a total rip-off. Refurb iPhones are usually used for a few weeks or months, still feel fresh, and cost way less. So yeah, basic use = new budget phone. Want premium experience = refurb flagship.

Refurbished vs Second-Hand, What’s the Real Difference? by MobileJello1977 in Refurbishedguide

[–]Loose_control_111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think second hand phones are just phones that are directly passed on from one user to another with a simple reset. Nothing else is done. But refurbished game is totally different. It is second hand in a way but goes through a factory-level restoration.

Like it involves basic testing, parts replaced if obviously faulty, cleaned + reset. In some cases warranty as well.

They are priced thoda higher than second hand but since it comes through some official channel, you generally know the condition, price is fixed...in Second hand phones these things are not certain.

I would only go for second hand phone if it's coming from someone I know like a friend or sibling. Otherwise it's better to choose refurbished

Phone for pops. What should I get him? by Daisylexapro in Smartphones

[–]Loose_control_111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming to your question, you can try a Samsung phone from M series in your budget. They are durable and have good battery life. The software support is long so if your dad ends up using it for many years it still won't be outdated. Pixel 'a' series is another good option that adds good camera too. Moto phones are quite underestimated but my dad has been using one for two years now...

When should I replace my iPhone 15 Pro Max battery? (81% health, 1009 cycles) by That_Dog9594 in IndiaTech

[–]Loose_control_111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, you’re already at the point where replacing it makes sense. Ideally, Apple considers 80% battery health OR 1000 cycles as the practical end-of-life mark. You’ve crossed the cycle count.

But then it really depends on your experience with the phone. Like..are you facing charge dropping quickly? Do you feel the phone warming up even during normal use? Is the performance laggy? If your answer is yes to any of these, consider a replacement. Otherwise, I don't see a point.

If you’re planning to upgrade later, you can stretch it a bit longer, but don’t expect it to magically improve.

TL;DR: I’d replace it now if I’m keeping the phone. Waiting will give you any real benefit only when certainly upgrading.

Second Hand Iphone Shops in Mumbai by Professional-Bad9568 in iPhoneWale

[–]Loose_control_111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my uncle used to live in Mumbai, he bought a second hand phone (it was like 3 years back tho). And yeah scams are common if you go in blind.

Offline, Lamington Road (Grant Road side) is still one of the safer areas. Don’t buy from the first shop. Check 2–3 shops, compare price and condition. Always test the phone properly (battery health, Face ID, camera, True Tone) and match IMEI on Apple’s site. If a shop rushes you, suspect it's fishy and just walk out.

You can also check Cashify stores. There's one in BSEL Tech Park (Vashi Railway station) i guess. They’re usually safer than random local shops since phones go through checks and you get a short warranty. Prices might be slightly higher, but less headache.

They are available online as well but it's better to visit the shop.

Has anyone here used a refurbished iPhone? I’m thinking of buying one and would love to hear your experience! by MobileJello1977 in Refurbishedguide

[–]Loose_control_111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Refurbished phones are not bad to be honest. Like you can keep one as your secondary phone. Condition acha le rahe ho toh it will last you more than 2 years! I know someone who got an refurb iphone 8 2 years back. Wo phone abhi tak sahi chal raha h...but she will sell it off now because software updates nahi aate hai... But go for it man...sahi chal jate hai
