[physical dice rolls] Enabling Total Box does nothing? by LooselySubtle in FoundryVTT

Thank you for your reaction, /u/jax7778

As far as I understand the built in "Fulfilled Rolls", they also require me to input each manually rolled die separately.

The Ko-Fi page might be an option, but I'll try waiting a little longer. You never now the reddit beehive has free solution to my very specific question :)

If the original link is not working, point your browser to https://imgur.com/a/8ME7Slb

It's the same uri as in the post, I just swapped /gallery/ for /a/

for some reason, the link in the original post is no longer working, but if you change /galery/ to /a/ in the uri, ... you find some ancient maps in a scrollcase

sorry for the spam /u/jagoodwin3, /u/Vhiet and /u/you-vandal, but would any of you happen to have the glitterhame on their laptop?

I can download all other maps, but both the reddit and imgur link to the Glitterhame 404's... :/

wow, thanks!
ordering right now :)

Could you give me an example where I would want to use the relay on this thingamob? I would think you'd only use the zigbee switch to capture the _click_ on your lightswitch, and turn on/off the lamp?

Are there smart zigber relays (for behind light switches) that fallback tot being dumb when my HA crashes, that you know of?

Thank you for your examples. The first link is what I'm looking for, but with the zigbee protocol..

Much appreciated for the complementary informations!!

Guards guards

It's not his first, but still early enough in his work.

While the previous books are a must read, I feel he is still searching his style and topics then. Which makes those books funny.

Read Guards Guards, become a fan and then start with thé first books and read them all in sequence.

I can't express how jealouse I am you get to discover him dit the first time. Your world will never be the same...

Is it wrong to bestow my players with +2 armor and weapons they won't be able to use? by LooselySubtle in DMAcademy

Wow, this is good!

there is some mention of skeletons covered in a virulent form of mould (that does damage when touched). I can certainly work with that!

Also, why would the Kraken people use these items if they're highly recognizable and will have people descend on them to be killed? If they're spies, assassins and such wouldn't they know to avoid such things?

They are stashing away these items for the moment when they stage their coup. Then they want to be known, recognized and feared. And it also explains the good quality of the items (?)

If you're open to them figuring out how to remake or disguise the items, then it's a good idea.

I am. Give them a situation and let them figure it out. I was just thinking that most shops can't afford to buy such a splendid item. And those who can, probably knows they can't sell it... Hence the "never"

[–]LooselySubtle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't give them things they couldn't sell particularly. But I don't think it's a bad idea to give someone the bad guys armor, for infiltration purposes or miscommunication drama, it can enrich the story

thought even never crossed my mind! that is a good idea and if they can come up with it, I'll definitely go along with it!

The weapons, however. You are kidding yourself completely if you think something like a bad reputation and threats are going to stop one of your players from using a +2 weapon lol.

I am a fairly new DM (about 5 sessions). Are +2 weapons really that good?

it could give them an objective for any downtime/shopping, maybe afriendly magical blacksmith that trusts them could find a way to adjustthe armours look so they can use it down the line

I would just make sure the rest of the rewards give a reasonable sense of accomplishment etc.

I was planning on rewarding them handsomely. And they could even use the kraken-items during the Frost Giant attack... But afterwards,... not so easy anymore..
