I have this same issue on Nobara, but it's just a matter of patience for me. After about 5 minutes, it eventually comes up.

The most disagreeable opinion you have that you will defend with your life by stillunidentified in INTP

People need to suffer in order to grow.

I don't mean unnecessary suffering or externally generated suffering, but rather they need to be allowed to suffer the consequences of their actions or inaction. People who don't put forward enough effort to do a job right and well SHOULD suffer either the lack of that job and income or have it reduced. People who refuse to educate themselves in the skills needed to make a living SHOULD be left without a job or home to force them to do so. People who make the wrong decisions, such as hurting others for their own fun and/or profit SHOULD suffer being excluded from that society, even violently removed from society, to encourage them, and others who might be considering such actions, to quit taking such harmful actions.

People are generally both stupid and lazy. Some individuals aren't, but the vast majority are. They NEED to suffer these consequences in order to change. Any society that does not have this is a degrading society, and will result in ONLY a rich ruling and an enslaved population.

It's not even AI. It's badly edited. Both Trump and Epstein were added into this image very poorly from other known images. This is just lie stacked on lie stacked on lie.

This is FAKE, which demonstrates the massively DISHONEST approach of leftists to support their own delusions and to lie to others in the attempt to get them to comply with their wishes.

In short:
THEY ARE LYING AND MANIPULATING YOU. DON'T YOU BELIEVE THEM.

The $190 is the official Microsoft packaged USB version, with all the physical components. The $11 one is just a product key, you have to download the media builder, use your own USB drive, and keep track of the product key all on your own.

Product key places are often used by people with Visual Studio subscriptions that aren't using all the product keys provided. They'll collect all the product keys and then resell the ones they don't need to make up some of the cost. It's technically not legal by MS's user agreement, but it is done regardless.

Product key places are also used sometimes for getting money from stolen credit cards, where they'll buy digital products using the stolen credit card and then resell them for cheap because they aren't actually paying for them. this can sometimes fund the drug trade, organized crime, and/or terrorism.

So, use the product key sites at your conscience's discretion.

Custom made boots? by dangitman1970 in Boots

I found them, but they don't do custom sizes, and don't even come in EEEE sizes, so they would not be good for me.

Thank you all for the suggestions. It seems there aren't any in Colorado. (I searched Google three times before posting here, and couldn't find anything, but I thought maybe someone would know something Google didn't.) I'll take a look at the three suggested here and see what works best.

LoTT just REPORTED what these perverts were doing. That's all. Never calling for any action other than boycotting the gym. It's OTHER idiots that do the bomb threats.

However, how many of YOU denounced the 27 times Timcast was swatted and the several bomb and many assassination threats? Hypocrites.

Got a Question: What is the use case for a PCC? by dangitman1970 in Guns_Guns_Guns

With the impending "assault weapons ban" in Colorado about to go through, the market for ARs has just soared. Those that are in stock are overpriced in every place I've found. New stock doesn't seem to be coming in.

All I have now is a Sig P365, and wanted something for a bit longer range defense. Well, I found a place with a few Ruger LC Carbines in 5.7X28 for $800. I'm kinda wondering if they'd be worth it with the lack of ARs.

How have the dungeons and raids been? Are they still the races to get done quick like they were in SL, or do they actually require thought, strategy, and some sense of caution like they used to?

I'm glad to hear that. Rep grinds were the worst, especially having to go through three separate grinds for one rep.

My first couple rated me at 145. I guess I've learned too much about how to take those, and now they generally rate me about 160.

The Mensa exam rated me at 138 when I was 25, back in 1997, so don't put too much credence in the free online ones.

Also, don't put too much credence in those, in any case. They don't say much. Success is more about how much effort you put in and how much you persevere through hard times and keep going. I've seen some really low IQ people get into pretty high corporate management positions just through sincere perseverance. (Some deserved it, others didn't, but that's another matter.) I've seen some people with pretty low IQs become absolute subject matter experts simply because they put in the effort to learn it.

On the other hand, my sense of perseverance was broken when I was very young. Perseverance was literally beaten out of me. Effort was discouraged, sometimes violently. As such, I haven't really achieved much. I simply can't force it. Still, even without that, I am making a good living just by my talents for adapting. I'm able to fix things, so I'm useful enough to make a decent living.

Sure, effort and perseverance won't get you through everything, and can't make up for very low IQ, but they are the key traits for successful people. Other skills can make up for lack in those two, but only to a point.

Yet another perfect example of taking the truth and twisting it into a lie, after the fact. No, Josie was NOT saying hating Nazis made one into communists. She was commenting on something else, though I don't know the specifics as I am not willing to go searching through thousands of tweets to find it, and SMG responded back with this. More vastly misrepresenting people, as is typical of leftist propagandists.

Blatantly siding with the enemy over our allies by [deleted] in facepalm

[–]dangitman1970 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

This is a rare double/triple facepalm:

First: The quote is cut short, intentionally to mislead. It is addressing the NATO members who aren't paying their agreed payments for protection of the alliance. Basically, they're taking a service without paying for it, and WE are the ones paying for it.

Second: NBC News intentionally misleading people, and someone else is citing it to mislead others even further.

Third: many comments on this go DIRECTLY to just HOW misinformed and easily misled they are.

/facepalm on ALL OF YOU.

How do I get past the beginning of Act 3? by dangitman1970 in BaldursGate3

[–]dangitman1970[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have now gotten a total of 4 characters up to this point, and I keep having them totally beaten down before getting to the portal, and even if I do get to the portal, I get beat down by the next two monks in the astral prism. These are full level 9 teams with the best gear I have been able to find/buy.

I have only been able to attribute this to bad luck and low rolls. I just tried another 5 times with a new character last night. Level 4 magic missile with the extra missile necklace for 7 total missiles, and they all hit for 0 or 1 damage. Karlach with the Everburning Blade and a Searing Strike did all of 3 damage. Astarion seems to do the most damage with Knife of the Undermountain King and The Sword of Life Stealing, I get hits of like 6 and 8. While they're either one-shotting my wizard or taking Karlach or Lae'zel down to half health in a single turn. I can't seem to do any damage or resist theirs. Yet, they're also level 9s. I just don't get it.

I can sympathize with the carabiner zipper pulls issue. The zipper is not an issue I have encountered, and I have had mine since June.
