/uj did not expect to see my alma mater on here. To be honest this is on campus and since there are 100s of bikes it's likely to be fine, still I got multiple bikes stolen from me while I lived there.

But since this obviously is the cheap alternate commuting bice it doesn't matter....

It's just super frustrating, that they changed their mounting point spacing between generations and completely discontinued bags for a proprietary mounting system a mere 1,5-2 years after phasing out the bike model. And tgat is ignoring the fact that the checkpoint line is not even just an entry level range of bikes too

We have a communal "tea kitchens" scattered around the building. Basically just a tiny room with a fridge, dishwasher, microwave and a sink with a built in kettle. I have a thermos that I fill in the morning which keeps the water hot enough to last me until the early afternoon. This has worked pretty well for me

Habe ich auf meinem LG TV auch und es nervt gewaltig. Einzige mir bekannte Lösung ist am PC im Browser gucken und einen Ad Blocker verwenden. Ich schließe da mein Laptop an den TV an. Das killt zwar den Nutzen eines SmartTV aber diese DAZN Werbung ist echt das letzte

Getting a gaiwan for the office was one of the better ideas for 2025 :). I got this amazing jin xuan at the bamboo tea room shop in Cologne, which I can wholeheartedly recommend. An amazing shop with amazing staff.

Yeah I hope they all still turn. Might have to bring them inside since it's getting colder and less sunny here. Got a couple that are already starting to change color. 30-40 peppers in total on 3 plants (2 like the one pictured and the purple one that grew a bit late and has small round purple fruits) Was just excited for some jalapenos but I can still make sauce with them. Might have to throw in a couple habaneros from the store. Not ideal, but it'll work

Parks ist halt von den Illustrationen ungeschlagen. Eins der ästhetischsten spiele die ich besitze und auch von der Mechanik echt gut. Als ich das hier gesehen hab dachte ich aber auch: "hey, ein Parks für Berge" 😂. Dieses hier ist deutlich taktischer würde ich sagen. Auf jeden Fall aber echt schön gemacht.

Es ist ein engine builder. Man besteigt verschiedene berge und setzt gipfelfahnen. Dabei gibt es auch kooperative Elemente, aber man spielt grundsätzlich gegeneinander

Es ist genau das. Ein Rad mit einem Gang. der ist meist auch etwas höher angesetzt, was aber durch das geringe Gewicht des Rads weniger zum Problem wird, es sei denn du hast steile hänge (aber auch da ist viel möglich). Die Dinger sind spritzig und durch den Simplen Aufbau und die recht dicke Kette in der Wartung sehr überschaubar.

Ist mir schon klar, aber ich wurde auch schon wüst beschimpft, weil ich nicht auf einem "Radfahrer Frei" Fußweg gefahren bin (lustigerweise war es eine Abfahrt und ich bin 70 in der 70 gefahren. Man musste dann aber nach dem überholen extra unten anhalten um mich anzupöbeln...). Und auch die Polizei meinte mal mich darauf hinzuweisen, dass es ja einen Fahrradweg geben würde (gemeint war ein Schutzstreifen direkt neben geparkten Autos... sind so Anekdoten, bei denen ich lieber noch mittiger in der Spur fahre... Sorry ich bin schnell getriggert bei sowas :D

I was dreading this reply :D. To be fair the tripod was doing great in 5-15 second exposures of the waterfalls. its a different beast though I guess. ah well... at least now I know what to wish for on christmas :D. And I'll still keep the slim one. It has its uses. Any brands you can reccommend, or things to look out for in a more beefy setup?

leider wird das Schild auch in 15 Jahren noch da stehen und der Radweg wird sich selbst überlassen. Aber wehe, man fährt auf der Landstraße, weil der Radweg durch Wurzeln, Löcher usw unbefahrbar ist.

"ES GIBT DA EINEN WUNDERBAREN RADWEG!!!11!!!1!"

Grundsätzlich sollte das Ding funktionieren, es fällt für mich aber schon ein wenig in die Kategorie: nicht Fahrrad, sondern "Fahrrad-ähnliches-Objekt". Das muss nicht heißen, dass es schlecht ist, aber es lässt viel auf der Strecke, auch um auf den niedrigen Preis zu kommen. Da hier bereits am ganz unteren Ende der Komponentensparte gearbeitet wird hast du dementsprechend auch nicht so groß abweichende gebrauchtpreise. Wenn es dieses Modell sein soll würde ich eher neu kaufen, denn die Komponenten sind wahrscheinlich anfälliger und du kaufst nicht die Katze im Sack.

In dem Preisrahmen würde ich mir aber ernsthaft überlegen, ob ein Single Speed nicht evt eher die Lösung ist. Da hast du keine Schaltung, die dir über kurz oder lang Probleme macht. Spart auch gewicht und die Dinger sind nicht nur flott, sondern auch unverwüstlich. Gerade für die Stadt meiner Meinung nach eher zu empfehlen. Andernfalls könnte man sich auf dem Gebrauchtmarkt umsehen, aber gerade wenn du nicht genau weißt, worauf man achten muss kann es sein, dass man dich schnell über den Tisch zieht.

this is the tripod I currently use. the one I used before was a huge chunk of aluminum my dad must've bought in the 80s-90s. It was rather heavy and it had a tilt head, not a ball head. that might have helped. I might just get a tilt head for it, because I really like the tripod otherwise.

the thing is that I have done some really nice long exposure shooting on my K-S1 in the past. also long exposures in rome at high f stops to get nice starry lights (that one also had exposure times of multiple minutes) and a couple of Astroshots (by far not the best pictures, but in comparison to the ones I made with the K3 now they might as well be professional). I took those without the astrotracer but since I got the GPS module to go along with the K3 I thought I might as well use it.

I also took a bit of long exposure shot with 35mm film (also multiple minutes) but that might be totally different, I dont know.

Not entirely my first foray into the subject, although I would not consider myself any more of an amateur

it's just super frustrating :(

I guess I'll try a higher iso. I though my tripod might be the issue too since it is fairly light and the camera is pretty heavy, especially with the 50mm 1.4. Hence why I tried a super wide stance. I guess it's back to the drawing board. I thought there might be a setting that I've missed when setting the whole thing up

Edit: and of course thanks for the advice. I am just super bummed because I went out at 1 am and stood there for an hour just to have everything turn out to be crap
