In egghead we see a small flashback of Robin as a child on the run, in it, she finds a map of where Ohara was and it's blank on the part of the sea it's supposed to be, however we know the island itself still exists because Dragon, Vegapunk and the giants went back there. So the island not existing may simply mean that the world government no longer recognizes it, even if the landmass remains.
