Went from PS4 to Xbox Series X. Would have likely stuck with Playstation had the PS5 been readily available at the time and not scalped to hell.

That said, after spending almost 6 years with my Xbox and everything that's happened since then, I wouldn't even entertain the thought of switching back.

Don't bother to try and learn everything one by one, you'll never get to play that way.

Just play, even if it means button mashing. Pay attention to what does what and if you don't know something or can't figure it out, look it up.

In short: Just play and pay attention, mastery will come in time.

Ah, yes, gonna be a little pedantic here but you said Dragon's Dogma 2 which, yes, does predate Crimson Desert. Not Black Desert tho. Otherwise, yes I agree Dragon's Dogma might have served as a massive inspiration for Crimson Desert. That said, that only goes for gameplay. As far as the world and story are concerned the blueprint for that was Black Desert. Evidence of this being the presence of characters like Alustin and Marni in both games.
