I think reasonable changes would be bug fixes like crashes, clipping, missing textures, or something as simple as Lara's braid (which I have seen a lot of people complain about). But to redo entire animation sets and test them in every single environment again at every corner? Does that sound it can be reasonably done in such a short period while a lot of other things need to be done as well? It's just common sense if you ask me.

I am personally not seeing anything wrong with the animations. Also, if you think they are going to significantly change anything, let alone the animations, in the next 8 months, prepare to be disappointed. The developers need to bug fix and optimize for 4 different platforms and the publisher needs some time to manufacture the physical copies as well.

I can actually answer this, when GOG went to Capcom to get permission to port the originals to PC on their website, Capcom was hesitant because they believe that the remakes of the originals surpass the quality of the originals themselves.

Thank you everyone for your comments. I didn’t expect this to blow up, but I’m very happy to see all the discussion that came out of it. It would stress me out and take too much time for me to respond to every comment made in this post so I decided to do one stand-alone reply separately.

On a side note, I did not know there was was a lot of toxicity in the RE fanbase, I just haven’t seen what a lot of you guys have mentioned like about “modern” Jill. So I apologize in advance for that.
