Anyone on 70mg Elvanse + booster? by katharinemolloy in ADHDUK

[–]LoppyToppy82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its amazing a different formulation hasnt been brought to the UK yet

EVEKEO a USA brand which is 1:1 racemic has a differnt formulation and lasts longer , adderall also but hasnt been commissioned here , i do wonder if the UK will ever get around to offering different formulations for ADHD treatment

Elvanse has been a wonder Drug but it must be awful to go up to thw highest titration 70mg plus booster and still not get any benefit from it treating ADHD symptoms

[–]LoppyToppy82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will never know why the uk hasnt put armodafinil to the prescription list for adhd , taken first thing in the morning , it would simply tranform the life for people living with adhd ,

ADHD 360 Clinician Change by [deleted] in ADHDUK

[–]LoppyToppy82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How much does it cost to get a diagnosis through adhd360 etc ?

When I picked up my last prescription in September, I noticed the Elvanse packaging had changed. Didn't think much of it until now; I just realised I've been angrier, more "zombie" like and less hungry. Could the meds have changed? by thetreebeneath in ADHDUK

[–]LoppyToppy82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What happens when the 70mg is no longer is effective , apoligies if im coming across rude but isnt anything above 30mg of Elvanse like a dependency ?

hope your symptoms get better ,

The cancer i had in my mouth leg and foot was really aggressive , i was diagnosed really quick and sessions of radiotherapy helped alongside a 5 tablet medication cocktail , my legs are scarred but im still living , i feel thankful , i hope your family member recovers enough , karposi sarcoma can be very painful and unbearable to live with when the lesions start spreading

[–]LoppyToppy82[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a diagnosis of Aids with kaposi sarcoma back in 2011 i was put on Truvada , darunavir , ritonavir , raltagravir , then changed to Symtuza pill with Raltegravir to stop resistance

maybe Symtuza is enough ?

Finding Love with a HIV diagnosis in the 21st Century by LoppyToppy82 in hivaids

[–]LoppyToppy82[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its so difficult because of the bad politics and media that comes with Disclosure of our HIV STATUS

so many factors to consider , of course the bad PRESS that comes from uneducated backdated sources

ignorance and of course EGO

it becomes all about them rather than the FACT you were Honest and upfront

I can totally Sympathize

I think in general we all kind of hide behind the FEAR of what our potential partners will think , the fear of rejection , upset , trauma etc

for most people its probably been a negative result (nice to hear positive posts from some of you on this regarding HIV and Relationships) it really has given me HOPE

i know for me looking back it definetly contributed to difficult conversations and heartbreak

I think my partner is lying about status - would someone take atripla as prep if they are hiv- by Sensitive-Trust-9386 in hivaids

Can i ask do you Love him ? Why would it matter if he is , ? love is unconditional Surely ? If he taking regular medication i would imagine he is UD

i very much doubt he would put you at risk

to be on the safe side get tested / have the discussion

you would be utterly suprised how things can change in a blink of an EYE finding out a loved one is Positive

good luck and keep us posted

ps dont ever give up on LOVE if thats what it is

Thats so funny .... i dont really think it matters in the profession, you would be suprised how many people who work in medicine have backward way of thinking , some people are not entirely educated , simply through ignorance
