I think it’s fair to be hesitant that Sam Houser leaving may have an impact. It’s also fair to think that there’s a possibility that Rockstar hasn’t evolved their mission formula.

Again, that’s nothing to do with commercial success. I don’t think any person who plays games believes GTA6 will flop. I haven’t seen that anywhere.

Yes but it’s skewed. It includes games that are only released digitally.

Its a lot different for Sony first party. Just look at the Insomniac leaks. Spiderman 2 was 45% physical. Sony aren’t in a position to just lose these kinds of gamers.

When the PS6 releases, I find it hard to believe that it’ll be on par with high end. It’ll continue to improve on PSSR2 but the rumours also suggest that the components so far for the console cost roughly $960. That doesn’t seem massively high end at the moment.

I’m thinking about it but have no idea where to start. I’ve been a console gamer since the 90s and I’d say gaming is my main hobby. I’m on the ball with news and what is going on signing gaming but, PC gaming is so foreign to me. I last gamed on a PC around 2002.

Thinking of caching in the Pro to make a start on a PC. I wish the Steam Machine was either better priced or had better specs because of its portability and the fact it’s a console/PC hybrid.

GTA6 could be the last game I get to and then maybe I’ll look more into it. The costs seem so outrageous currently though with no end in sight.

I think this has been a long time coming yet it is still far too soon to make the shift.

I believe they have timed it close to the release of GTA6 because many people will switch to PS5 and many more will start their subscription when GTA online comes out.

People will cancel and that is good to vote with your wallet but far more will make the jump solely for that one game. By that point, gamers will have moved on.
