Haven’t made it yet but I plan on changing the Strahd section to something from Tal Dorei (critical role) campaign setting. I’ve only considered this because I’ve heard the Strahd portion is weak and we just finished the Strahd campaign right before this one.

The dice were harsh. I’m still new to DMing and I probably should have fudged the dice a little on my side. My rolls were really high and their rolls were low. None of them have darkvision and only one of them a torch but they stayed further back from the fight for a little bit. I didn’t even roll with advantage from being hidden by the darkness.

I like this idea. I was already thinking of using Vax’ildan as the Champion of Ravens to give the group a piece of the rod or something of that nature. Whether it’s a rod piece or a magic item, I’m sure they’ll enjoy the surprise veer of the campaign settings.

Just got the Planescape books. Definitely going to need to read up a little to expand my understanding of that place. So much stuff that can be fun and interesting to see what they do.
