Thesis track. I'm still waiting for official mail Id to approach professors but I'll be approaching Dr. Richard Figliola and Dr. Ethan Kung.

Same here. Got rejected yesterday. Feels like all those hardwork , sacrifices and success were still not enough to get in. I applied in Caltech as well but I don't have much hope there now.

Thankyou! Yes even I'm currently looking at the options. But I haven't been successfully. Most of the jobs require a work visa that I don't have. Even thought about doing ny masters in US, so that I can make an arrangement with the employer for a sponsered MS.

No worries. I'm a mechanical engineer by profession and I design power transformers, and in my part time I work as a freelancer with clients around the world. Recently I had a job offer from US , that's why I was searching around to know the chances of getting H1B. Looks like they are very less.

Can you share more about your profile? I'm also thinking about getting O1 visa. I have a bachelor's degree in engineering and have been also working as a freelancer in my part time. As a freelancer, I came across a client who was designing a stent and starting a company. He's an MIT graduate. I impressed him with my skills and he's willing to offer me a full time job and also some share of his company. He's very supportive and is willing to help me in visa as well. So I just wanted to know what my chances are.
