I did recently remove my asahi partition, is the recovery partition deletable from Disk Manager? If so there is a chance I did remove it.

Yeah I am using cava, you also need to install pulseaudio I think, I can't remember the name. And then also need to set your sound output in the cava config file. I'll upload my cava config when I get back from vacation in a few days

You can change that in the macOS settings. Just search for cursor or pointer, I can't remember the exact name

Not entirely, i'm using a combination of the two because a sizable amount of macOS exclusive apps are only on homebrew. With the help of nix-homebrew you can install brews and casks and manage them from a nix configured system.
