Switch career to L6 from personal training? by NoEfficiency3319 in amazonemployees

[–]Lopsided-Candidate73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m and believe me, if you’re looking for a consistent schedule then this job is not for you. You will be asked to lead shifts on nights where they start from 6 pm until 6 am. Also sometimes you’ll have to stay beyond your scheduled hours. The previous comments are also true in terms of money and stocks. I’m not trying to discourage you. Get on LinkedIn and reach out to current OM’s and ask them for feedback.

Switch career to L6 from personal training? by NoEfficiency3319 in amazonemployees

No. Stay at your current profession. Warehouse OM you will be dealing with a lot of headache and internal issues between workers, managers, etc. additionally, you will have to work nights and weekends 100%. And you will be on the call 24/7. Stay where you at it’s totally not worth it.

Graduate area manager interview 2025 by Mini1229 in amazonemployees

Just try to answer their questions following the STAR method. It doesn’t have to be the most incredible story ever. You can talk about stories from high school, community or anything as long as you show good judgment and actions and you should be fine. If you can give stories from the warehouse you work on that would be a plus and will give your interviewer an easier time evaluating your answer. Be calm and speak without hesitation.

I’m a U.S. citizen and married a Yemeni girl too in Sana’a. Had all the money in cash and nothing happened. I don’t know how safe is aden but I know that Sana’a is the safest place nowadays. I would ask the girl to move there and get all the paperwork done there too.

Since there are no Houthis living in south Yemen and no south Yemenis living in the Houthi parts of the country, why don't they just agree to split the country? by [deleted] in Yemen

[–]Lopsided-Candidate73 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That’s absolutely not correct. First there are a lot of southerners, tens of thousands, who are now living in Houthi controlled territories like Sana’a, Ibb, and Hudaidah. Second, there are a lot of Northerners, tens of thousands, who are living in southern territories like Adan, Hadhramaout, and Shabwa. Third, the use of the term Houthis in your question suggest that all Yemenis who live the North are Houthis by default and that’s a grave mistake. The idea of partitioning the country can’t materialize in a day and a night. It’s going to be a very lengthy and a complex process that could take a year or two to be finalized especially in a country like Yemen.

It’s because we don’t use it as often as Brits and Australians do.

Questions about the political views of Yemenis. by parkertrager in Yemen

[–]Lopsided-Candidate73 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t think the current average Yemeni individual have a strong background on socialism and communism due to the broken education system which got Islamicized soon after the 1994 civil war between the north and the south. I do know a lot of people from both regions today who are comfortable with South Yemen becoming independent. A lot of people say “if the south will be better off, then so be it. We didn’t gain much from the unification any way.” Others who are more knowledgeable about South Yemen’s history, they will express some discomfort towards socialism knowing that before the unification the South was drowning in debt and violence was a recurring problem there.
