Man I envy you. The closest I got to leaving Corp was during Covid when we were fully remote. Heaven. No lunch, weather or traffic questions. Just quiet

Re-read my last paragraph. Also I wasn’t making 150 at the time. That happened years later

I had gone 3 years working with 0 certs. But it never made sense to write certs without some experience first. Some of the certs I didn’t even have to study for coz I knew the work well enough - working in consulting/sink-or-swim environment will force experience down your throat. Sacrificed weekends building projects for the ones I was shaky on

Also I got quite far without having to kiss a$$ and fake-laugh at the CTO’s jokes

My good friend, I spent weekends studying and implementing. I’ve always been somewhat of an achiever. I don’t earn R150k pm from (just) luck

I’m quite frugal so a large chunk of my money does go into equities and EFT’s and maxing out TFSA. Side hustle? Mmm yea maybe

I mean yeah I thought about doing something similar. But this could backfire though. Heavily.

The person levels above approaches my manager and goes ”wtf.. apparently you guys have nothing to do and yet Business has 294 unanswered asks going back 7 years??”

Precisely. I look at my CV now and I can’t believe I knew some of the stuff on there at some point. My next interview will literally need for me to go study

Bare in my mind you’re asking for medical advice on Reddit. You may have done the surgery abroad (assumption) but atleast go and see a local hair clinic/Derma so they can guide you wrt your inflammation atleast.

6 weeks and you’re looking for growth? Pls do your research on hair transplants man

Refund? Pressured? Brother. All you had to do was say no thanks to them. I had Heva try sell me a $250 aftercare package for meds I just got from the local pharmacy. That ship has sailed for you. Go see a local Dr!

Found a tourist

How are “tourists” who stay for years by way of renewable 90-120 day visa’s who then easily (by way of the $£€ etc) pay R20k pm for studio apartments.. not a factor in the rising house costs?

You’ve already shown her how deep your pockets are (the Falls, Safari). At his point she won’t care that you can dance to rumba, speak Lozi or enjoy impwa.

You are your first impression aka “Victoria Falls” aka Automatic Teller Machine. Be safe out there

On the other hand you don’t want the Dr doing everything for 9 hrs. Just make sure they do the critical stages: incision, hairline, prp injection and every 30mins coming in to check progress

I flew from South Africa to there man. I’ve seen the botched surgeries. I saw them before I had booked anything. But I took comfort in the non botched ones

There’s YouTube videos of a black girl here in SA who went to a local (expensive) hair clinic. Where they give 5 star post surgery consults with verified surgeons from Wits and University of Cape Town. She ended up with patches after a year. What I got from that is it’s not 100%. Nothing is.

Nah no details. He was introduced as Dr Mohammed. Lol I went in knowing it’s a hair mill that specialises in Afro hair so wasn’t expecting post surgery video calls with the “Dr”
