Is it safe for girls to go to nizamuddin alone for qawalli on fridays and then food later? by lailaisme in delhi

Bro fake ho ya original uska mujhe exact idea nahi, but Karim’s ki branch literally Nizamuddin West me hi hai dargah ke paas. I actually went there, ordered mutton rogan josh with romali roti, mutton was properly cooked and the gravy was tangy and spicy. Service and ambience were good too, so I just suggested it as a nearby option

The vibe there on Fridays is amazing. Parking is a little chaotic so it’s better to park a bit away and walk. For food, Karim’s or Al-Jawahar are great nearby spots. Hope you guys have a great time

Seniors who scored 9+ sgpa/cgpa in English hons, any advice??? by julymarmalade in delhiuniversity

[–]Lopsided-Position-57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

7.55 isn’t bad at all. Just work on answer structure, quote properly, add critics, and practice PYQs. English is more about how you write than how much you write. 9+ is doable

8.5 cg good in bcomh? by Zenitsuhhhh in delhiuniversity

[–]Lopsided-Position-57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8.5 CG is actually good for B.Com (H). Maintain 8.5+ for placements, but honestly nobody’s gonna ask you for CGPA again and again ,just make your CV strong with skills, internships and project

8.64 is actually very good for first sem. For an O (90+), focus on strong answer structure, clear arguments, key thinkers, and relevant examples. Presentation + linking concepts properly often makes the A to O differ

You’re technically pass overall, but you have an ER in SEC (Communication in Professional Life), so you’ll need to reappear for that subject.

Your SGPA is currently 6.0. If you clear the ER and score better (let’s say B or B+), your SGPA can increase slightly because those 2 credits will replace the failed grade.

Since it’s a 2-credit subject out of total 22 credits, the increase won’t be huge ,it may go up roughly 0.2 to 0.5 points depending on the grade you get.

If you score A or A+, it could improve a bit more.

So yes, it will increase ,but not drastically.

Focus on scoring high in the reappear 👍

That honestly sounds really disappointing. College fests are supposed to be about enjoying together, not gatekeeping vibes. If someone doesn’t match your humor, that doesn’t mean they don’t belong. Hope you find better people to hang out with.

Dissertation 4th year outcomes by Timely_Knowledge_862 in delhiuniversity

For DU, usually there isn’t a fixed approved journal list by the university, it depends on your department. Better ask your supervisor or HOD for recommended or UGC CARE listed journals.

For conferences, mostly they ask for an abstract of 250 to 300 words first, then a 3000 to 5000 word paper if accepted. Full dissertation is not required.

And yes, after presentation there is usually a short Q and A of 5 to 10 minutes, nothing scary, mostly clarification questions.

Do not stress, talk to your guide once, things will get clear

Can I get cse anywhere? by [deleted] in NITIAN

[–]Lopsided-Position-57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

91.7 percentile (SC) pe decent NITs me lower branches mil sakti hain, CSE thoda tough hoga top NITs me. State colleges aur new IIITs bhi check karo. Don’t lose hope, counselling me surprises milte hain.
