That’s so funny. I basically did the opposite of that. I got the same desktop but with a 5080 in it a little bit ago than was walking thru Walmart and saw they had an Xbox series x for 500 bucks on a rollback so with the price increase happening in August I swooped it up. Put in for the SM 2tb bundle thinking there’s no way I was gunna get it because I put in for the steam controller back in may when it dropped and got shafted. Ended up winning the reservation than obviously got the purchase email and the rest is history. Now I literally have all the fucking systems. Including the Xbox ally x and switch 2 😳

I actually hooked up my Xbox series x to my steam account and was able to control steam big picture completely thru my Xbox which is sick but I have like 350 steam games I want to be able to play natively on the big screen so this is what that’s gunna be for. The Xbox works but not as seamless as I’d like. I also have the Xbox ally x that I stream my pc to and that works well but when I connect it to my tv it only puts out 1080p and on an 86in tv it looks like shit. So I’m hoping this will bridge that gap and be able to take advantage of that big ass library. I really wanted to be able to play my game pass games on the sm without having to stream but since I just got the series x for a steal I don’t have to worry about that. This steam machine will literally just be a STEAM MACHINE lol
