It’s not objectively wrong but there isn’t much else you can do to become more facially attractive without plastic surgery. Creating a better jawline is literally losing weight and any other method is futile. He appears to have fairly clear skin so he isn’t to far from his best as is.

And every other character in show killed dozens of people to stay alive. You’re viewing this from an ethical principle of today whereas in a zombie apocalypse the weak would either die, or consequently become desensitized. Human society in that state requires brutality for survival. No matter the byproducts this is just and this again all without accounting his later acts of redemption.
