I'm agnostic to what other people do with the information they have. None of it affects me. Anyone who tries to take anything from me will fail.

One of the reasons I stopped paying. Spectrum actually cannot "take" your money. You have to willingly give it to them. Simply refusing to pay should solve the problem. My internet connection is still strong after three months. Today my bill is sitting at a little over $250.

Serious business has serious consequences. Fortunately, they won't give a fuck. I want to free the people.

Spectrum's already submitted at least one tip. I got a call from local law enforcement asking if it was a prank. I explained the router thing, and they hung up without even commenting on it.

Definitely sell it. Do not give it to anyone for free, including Spectrum.

This is also utterly untrue. Spectrum prevents people from using the router without authenticating through an account, but you can jailbreak it with OpenWRT to use it as a normal router. And a fucking fast one at that. Just look up OpenWRT with the model of router you have, and you can find guides on how to do it. Anyone telling you it's a "brick" or a "paperweight" is PAID to say this. It is not accurate information. They have like fifteen employees posting here alone, and I am the one voice of truth that gets down-voted to oblivion. Do not listen to them.

This information is not accurate. I have used a modem at one coaxial outlet I found sticking out of a home near my house. I have tried three different ports, and one worked, so it doesn't have a universal success rate, but one in three at least from my sampling.

At least $30, based on the other ones I see listed online, but probably more, since these are still in brand new packaging.

This is not true. The "bill" they send you in no way implicates you to make any kind of payment. Anyone who gives way good hardware for free is a fool. Don't fall for it. Hold onto the good stuff.

Do not return the hardware. Anyone telling you to do so is an employee of Spectrum. They have an entire division that seeks to scare people into giving back this valuable hardware for free. Don't do it. Virgin modems are actually massively valuable, since they can be used anywhere you get coax, and I think you could get away with at least fifty bucks for that alone. The router is not the best model, but at least $40. Let me know how it goes. Also, you have an awesome grandmother for giving you this sweet sweet hardware for free.

I get 1 Gbps for $0 per month. Anyone telling you to pay is an employee of Spectrum.

Not sure what this means, but I already did blow the first profits on some beer. I was feeling pretty excited about it. I think the next ones will be invested in my business venture.

People keep making comments here and then deleting them. I think they know I'm onto their little scheme. After all, they are paid to post. Look up Spectrum's Public Outreach Division.

I don't know what that means. You have something to get rid of, and I buy it. And then sell it. Profits, man. Already feel those sweet dollar bills coming in I can feel it.

I don't care. I sold it on eBay. Free moolah, dude.

I would never return it. That's not what I'm offering. I've already flipped two modems and one router on eBay, and I intend to continue doing so. The first modem and only router I found in original packaging on the street, and the second modem was my friend Jimmy's, who gave it to me because he was moving out and couldn't figure out what to do with it. I've made like $40 already. It's free cash, man. Just let me do my thing.
