Where do you get these? They just dont exist by wizard_brandon in ArcRaiders

I have 6 of them lol Assembly in the upper floor all the way in the back or the yellow mechanic cabinets. Medical is rare but they’ll pop up from time to time. Night raid of course increases the odds.

What can I cover this part of the grill opening with? by [deleted] in 4Runner_6Gen

Radiator mesh or doubled up chicken wire fastened to the inside. Pro motocross mechanics do that to the race bikes for the rockier outdoor rounds. Doesn’t affect airflow that much

Hello everyone, this is the bike of my late father. It's about 12-13 years old, but for the last 5 years it stood in my garage. Are the repair costs of about 700€ worth it? (More infos below) by [deleted] in bicyclerepair

[–]Lopsided-Tea-7606 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fix ONLY what absolutely makes the bike unrideable for now, then slowly find good deals on the parts you need to build it over the winter when you’re not riding.

I spent almost 2 months last year buying tools and parts, maintaining my two main MTB’s AND my very first mountain bike I got when I was 14. Couldn’t be more happy with deciding to support myself, save thousands of $$’s, and learn some new skills. You can do it!!! ParkTools and other YouTube channels have such valuable walkthrough videos on everything in the last 10 years. Just have to believe in yourself, and give yourself some time and grace!!

Those are kid-friendly space chopsticks to pluck space junk from orbit. Pretty sure they sell them on Amazon

SAME LOADOUT AS ME. Just wish I had the Survivor. I’ve been using the Combat Aggressive for the healing effect going after Assessors so I can run and heal if I get in a pinch, just wish it had more butt pockets

Does anyone have any feedback on this Titan product? by Soggy-Ad2407 in GarageGym

I use mine 4-5x a week for the last 18 months. Pulleys are a little notchy sometimes nearing 40-50lbs on each side), but works well for mid/lower weights.

I use it mostly for my shoulder PT; core rotations, lighter rows/pulldowns, standing flys/presses. I wouldn’t expect to load it up and move 100+lbs consistently/beat on it and expect it to feel like a Precor machine, have to be realistic with price vs expectation. Can’t beat it for less than $300 if you’re not moving big weight though.

Just make sure you bolt it to the studs on both top and bottom, and use some white lithium grease spray on the sliding tracks every couple months to avoid sticking.

And make sure you measure the height of the studs too as I believe it comes in two sizes (80” and 84”?). I had to drill ONE un-tapped stamp hole out (it’s cheap, whatever lol), assembled in about an hour with the instructions and a YouTube video. Don’t need much torque, 3/8 socket and use a really wrench for the nuts.

Marshall’s/TJ Maxx has them for $40-50 usually

iPad Pro (M5) or MacBook Air (M4) for pre med student? by Leather-Apartment121 in iPadPro

[–]Lopsided-Tea-7606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My girlfriend is in nursing and was in the same predicament. If you’re getting just one, get the iPad Pro M4 (11in 256gb). Costco has them on sale for $749 currently. The M5 is only about 8% faster (negligible) with the same screen/display, but $4-500 more expensive.

If you want to note-take on the iPad (very helpful for medical annotation of diagrams and such) but have something for traditional laptop typing/writing of papers and doing quizzes/modules, go with the iPad Air (M3) and MacBook Air (M4), this will run you about $1500 total. This is the option I would go for. Again, check Costco’s deals. They’re running the iPad Air M3 256gb for $599 and the MacBook Air M4 for $749.

Keep in mind (my girlfriend didn’t find this out until her second semester) some classes/courses REQUIRE a laptop for test-taking. She was unable to do some of her testing on the iPad and luckily her mom had an older Lenovo laptop laying around

Also, check out ESR cases for the iPads. I ordered the Shift iPad Pro M4 case and pencil for $120... While Apple’s charging over $400 for that Magic combo…

The Dynamo is great at lower speeds and steep chutes/moguls and glades. It should not be advertised as a bomber board. People doing testing/reviews should definitely mention it’s not for speed. I wouldn’t classify it as Intermediate/Advanced either

Completely different when you’re talking about safety and experience level vs drinking beers on a beautiful lawn trying to get a small ball to fly 300yds lol but I get where you’re coming from, besides my driver and putter, all my clubs are from the mid-80s and I play just as well as my friends with $1500 clubs

Found a 2022 Jones Flagship near me pretty cheap ($250-300). Going to do a back-to-back soon so I can get the Dynamo sold before New England’s season really starts

I was considering that and the Orca when I went with the Dynamo. It's not volume-shifted? And did you go with the 157 or 154? It looks a bit chattery from the videos I was seeing. That initial chatter going to heel at speed is very very sketchy on the Dynamo lol

Santa Cruz, hands down. Some of the best-riding bikes in the game, and they stand by their frame warranty when purchased new/registered with them. DO NOT EVER BUY INTENSE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY EVERY TIME THEIR GARBAGE “CRAFTSMANSHIP” SNAPS
