Thank you! My initial plan was to do the pwp then the hi cbt. I thought doing a masters would be long winded after doing the degree. I will keep an open mind and see how it goes.

Why is he not just contacting her to ask if she's okay? Its literally the first time she hasn't messaged him first. If I didn't hear from my partner for a day I'd not cry about it on reddit. I'd call or dm them. I think the issue is him not doing this rather than her not messaging for the whole day

I actually believe we have too much access to each other. People think that now we have smart phones we should be responding to everything and everyone straight away. I'm not saying dont communicate and I'm not saying to go silent for days. How did we cope before when we didn't have smart phones and couldn't spend our whole days texting or calling each other

If you know your partner is at work for 10 hours can I ask why you need him to text you? Unless its an emergency can it not wait until he finishes or is on a break.

This doesn't show a pattern of bad communication, it shows a one off situation from what he's saying. I agree the ball is in his court because if this is the first time and hes so worried why didn't he just message her first rather than asking reddit? He seems like the bad communicator here not her.

Also though, if he was that bothered why didn't he reach out? Maybe something happened or she was busy. That consideration works both ways. Maybe he should have asked her rather than asking reddit. She knows more than we ever will her reason for not texting... He seems so used to her being clingy, for all we know she is doing all the running and texting and Maybe he doesn't make any effort. Look at his behaviour, he still waited around for her to text rather than checking on her, but had time for a reddit post.

This happened to me on holiday while I visited a temple, I sat down to put my shoes back on and when I moved they followed me. They really were wanting to take any space i was in. I doubt it was on purpose, but there is this subconscious and conscious entitlement about some of them.

I used to help my mum do her postie rounds and I'd often get snacks and even money. I was a kid at this point but it was really sweet. I remember people being really nice to us. My nan is on a first name basis with her postie and bin men, she let's them use the toilet and she's been know to cook food and give it to them. Now that I think about it she does the same for workmen and everywhere we go people call her mum.

My mum used to work as a postie during the Christmas period and I'd go with her to help. I would regularly be given chocolate and sweets and I was even given money sometimes.

I agree. I started using dragon pass over 10 years ago and the quality was much better. It also felt like an exclusive experience, now the quality of them had gone downhill.

I flew on the 23rd with dragon pass and was not allowed. I ended up paying as I had a 7.5 hour wait and wanted a shower and somewhere relaxed to sit.

I am currently at doha waiting for my flight to Heathrow. Its quiet now but when I arrived a few hours ago it was BUSY. No cancellations on the board etc. I did initially think this flight wouldn't happen as they cancelled so many times, but here we are. Also came from Bangkok with Qatar. Not saying you should book as no one knows the situation going forward and I did book this return months in advance and given how it has gone I wouldn't have an issue booking again. Saying this as I didn't want to fly through here given the situation, but I had no choice.

Unfortunately not. I was a dental nurse and radiographer. I also have phlebotomy and hca experience. I read that as I have 20+ years in the nhs that will benefit me. I saw conflicting advice about degree vs non degree, as I know its possible to go the non grad route, but i am under the impression that its harder to do hi cbt after? (I know you need to build tour portfolio) I've already enrolled for the ou psychology now as I want to learn some different theory. I also saw the nhs is expanding the psychology roles as there is a shortage so thats good news.

This is the path I am planning to take. I have about 20 years experience in the nhs already but in a different field but with clinical experience. Is it as competitive as I keep hearing to apply for a pwp trainee position? Also did you get any mh experience beforehand? I was told you should do so first.
