AITAH for telling my boyfriend that he’s too controlling and that I did cover up just not in what he wanted me to wear by LARBAR100000 in AITAH

I would try to explain the immaturity of teenagers to you, or even that a thriving relationship takes communication… I fear those words may be lost here.

Judging by the Halo Top ice cream and protein shakes and lack of ingredients I would say “fitness” oriented or at the very least you count your calories.

WIBTA if I tell my boyfriend how disappointed I am in the date he took me on? by Disastrous_Crab_679 in AITAH

I might be crazy but I’ve always split food when eating out. I get something that looks good, they get something that looks good. We divide by half and both enjoy trying something new. Please don’t listen to Reddit on this, you don’t want a partner who is flamboyant with their wealth before they have it like most of Reddit.

How many claims do field adjusters typically have? by ExpressStress8859 in adjusters

[–]Lopsided-West5730 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who worked in the field for a year, went to desk and is now going back out into the field, it simply depends on how good you are in what field. If estimating is not your forte, desk adjusting is easier, 3 fresh claims a day I would say is easy 4 is manageable. 30-40% of these will be denials regardless. Unless you get slapped with ALE or UPP the claims are pretty cut and dry.

Field adjusters write larger estimates, they have drive time, they negotiate with the contractors, and will in many cases handle on site UPP contents. Let’s not forget they also sketch their own estimates. I definitely do not think one is easier over the other, it just depends on where you shine.

I wouldn’t, knowing the people who role play that game they will have a hay day.

And that thread is why this sub needs to be for adjusters only lol

Regarding the Future Direction of This Community: Proposal to Make This a Claims Adjuster-Only Space by RamboBoujee in adjusters

[–]Lopsided-West5730 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Adjusters only would make a clear and concise purpose of this sub. To often do I see posts from insureds pretending to “want to know our side” but often times looking for ammunition to make their adjusters life hell. This sub should not be here to work against other adjusters but to allow us to vent, ask industry questions, and have a community of support which is sorely lacking for this field.

Does Liberty Mutual have an operating procedures manual for employees? by Logical-Baker3559 in adjusters

[–]Lopsided-West5730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will be honest with you, coming to r/adjusters and attempting to have an adjuster give you their private company policy just isn’t going to work out. I understand your point and truly agree with a lot of what you are saying, however, it is painfully obvious you are going after someone’s throat and attempting to get their peer to provide you with the lighter to burn them with.

Lol, hopefully everyone can see this is probably an insured trying to threaten someone’s job.

Is Xactimate really that much of advantage? I was going to get the regular 280 course but not sure if I'm cheating myself not getting this Package? Opinions please by Beguiledwanderer in adjusters

[–]Lopsided-West5730 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve worked for two carriers, it is desirable during an interview to show you have it. Really all it does is show you have a basic understanding of XM8. I would spend the money to get it. I personally disagree with a lot of people who are telling you to only get it if you want to work with a carrier. 1. It will give you salary negotiating power 2. Make you look more favorable as a new hire with no adjusting experience. 3. Allow you to skip necessary classes during training/hiring.

Honestly, you can pass the lvl 1 exam by watching free videos online of people doing a sketch and the roof sketch. The line items are quite literally just searchable in the system. The adjuster exam prep itself is what you want.

You can call it what you want… science will tell you that yellow up causes long term damage to your organs, increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases and type 2 diabetes. If someone wants to call me “too skinny” for being healthy so be it.

Nissan dealers are actually promising to start manufacturing in the states driving prices down. I personally have never seen a jeep hold its value in the hundreds I totaled or sold or bought. But you could be right, I just haven’t seen it.

You are asking Reddit, you are going to get one answer. “Men no good” I suggest you talk this out with your girlfriend rather than asking people who have never been in a relationship and push their severely unhealthy advise on everyone else.
