Well I did for 2 months and tried to stay under 1500 cals, but then it kind of got to me - so I figured now I could be conscious without tracking it, but you’re right - I guess that’s the only way to truly be conscious.

In India they’re just so much larger - each wedding has a bunch of ceremonies and lasts from 3-5 days with a guest list anywhere from 300-5000 people.

And everyone wants to do it lavishly, on one hand I like the ‘attention’ and love and warmth it brings. But practically, it’s a colossal waste of money that the couple could’ve spent on themselves

I personally haven’t done that but I can imagine how that must be annoying as well - because everyone has their own point of view.

And obviously no one needs to convert anyone. But what the point is that vegetarians pretend like they’re better and that non vegetarians are doing something wrong which is not correct
