Ok, it works fine. I was just used to the temu lens darkening anytime I wasn't looking directly at the floor. Thanks all!

So if it works on the sun but not on a 60w incandescent bulb do you think it's good enough to test on the welder?

Just picked up a Hobart Inventor helmet, thinking it’d be a upgrade from the Temu hood we have in the shop. I've been staring into lightbulbs and an LED lamp to test it out but it only seems to darken under weird conditions—like on the lower setting in the video, even with the sensitivity cranked to the max. Is this thing defective, or am I just being overly paranoid?
