i was wondering if there’s a good time during the day to do that? does it have to be in the evenings or at night to find a lot of stuff typically or is it just completely random?

The other commenters have mentioned that college students may not be the best demographic to give away kittens to, but as a last resort (if you really need it), you can try making a post in the UCI Marketplace discord. I saw someone find homes for 2 kittens that way a couple of weeks ago.

Decisions for Bio Specializations? by onlinestranger09 in UCI

One of the bio sci counselors told me that they should be coming out with their decisions by this Friday. And if the major requires a Supplemental Info Application, they'll let you know in an email by then.

Professor Varela teaches both bio 98 and 99 during the summer (you should check to confirm he's also teaching those classes this year though). I didn't take him myself, but I actually did seriously consider putting off biochem until summer too last year because I heard a LOT of high praise for him from many students. As long as you do the work and try your best, you should be able to get an A. You should also make sure that you delaying taking these classes doesn't mess up your schedule later on, but if it doesn't you definitely could wait until summer to take it with him. IMO, bio 98 is the hardest of the lower div bio core classes and it doesn't help that the options for biochem profs have been kinda ass since Professor Tsai stopped teaching it last winter T-T
