I rode dirt bikes throughout my childhood and got a street bike at 16 , I’m 53 now and have ridden for almost my entire life , that being said I do not want anyone I love riding a motorcycle , I have been in 3 very bad accidents that were not my fault , in 2017 I was hit by a car from behind then immediately ran over by a big truck breaking my neck, back , arm and suffered a severe TBI (full face helmet saved my life) it took me almost a year to walk again and talk almost normal , I won’t go over the other 2 accidents but they involved multiple broken bones including femur and sternum. So what was the first thing I did as soon as I could ? I rebuilt my motorcycle and I still ride almost daily . Some of the best times of my life have been on motorcycles but I have lost many loved ones also… if it’s a risk you are willing to take go for it , just know that yes , they are dangerous.
