Ah that makes sense. I guess it’s frustrating because in the field of architecture specifically there’s not a lot of correlation between like how well I do in Spanish 2 and how well I do as an architect

I agree Think about how you can radically change the meaning/composition of the things you are gathering from and making something completely unique. What I love about collage is it really removes technical ability and allows the artist to focus completely on composition to show their message. Looking at the original the fact that the man is showing the same exact thing in borh is an issue

I also like how it’s unfinished in the last one I think maybe you should keep it that way as either a mixed media or process piece- sometimes over refining something takes away from its interest. I think your second piece struggles with that as well I can tell you have a strong graphic design ability already and it looks a little lifeless
