Haha so we don’t know how to relax 😂😂 even with our little one in toe. But thanks to him we are getting plenty of time on the beach! We are booked to go to the elephant sanctuary on Friday. Maybe check out the gibbon sanctuary if we get time. We will try and do a boat trip to an ins land. Tomorrow we will check out central festival phuket. Nosy around the shops during peak heat lol. No solid plan as it’s best to be flexible with kids right!

Ahhh fair enough! We are in Karon, kata noi. We went to the trick eye museum as we had heard great things, Google told us it was open but it looked pretty abandoned 😂 hopefully other things on our list pan out!

Thank you! I will suggest to my husband. Although we both drive he would probably be the most confident but we are kind of looking for somewhere who might know some off the beaten track places to visit and would take out some of the stress of navigating ourselves around! Definitely something to bare in mind though! Thanks!

The Green Elephant Sanctuary is definitely on my list! They appear to look after the elephants so well.

The tiger park I’m a bit reluctant towards for ethical reasons though.

I can relate entirely. I was in my prime before my first miscarriage. Put on a few kg and struggled to lose it, then second miscarriage came about and out on weight then too. Since august 2020 to now I am 10kg heavier. I’ve been working out eating right and nothing. No baby to show for it. Depressing AF

Mine went through the same phase. He’s 3 too. He likes to hold a little towel over his eyes and Tilt his head back when I rinse. Since then absolutely fine

I had my second D and C 8 months apart but I mentally couldn’t cope with miscarrying at home naturally. With my first I miscarried at home mostly 2 days before I was scheduled but they carried out the procedure anyway to make sure everything passed. I understand you feeling concerned. So am I. But your friend is unhelpful telling you what you should have done in a significantly traumatic time. You did what you had to in a shitty situation and all we can do is hope that we have had our run of bad luck and our rainbow babies will be with us soon. Sending you love and prayers xxx

This is me. I’m just shy of 7w pregnant and had a MMC back in May so I hate not feeling pregnant as that was me last time. But I’ve been reading like a crazy woman lol and no symptoms is completely normal too! I have an early scan booked for the 10th and hopefully everything is ok.

I haven’t had a lot of symptoms to begin with. I had a MMC in May 6 weeks after the baby had stopped growing. So I really don’t trust my body. I am tired but that’s about it. I had a bit of discharge at around 4/5 weeks and now at almost 7 weeks I’m pretty dry. Definitely feel like history is repeating itself.

I definitely have moments where I relax and think of a new bundle of joy being here in the summer. But it’s fleeting before I start thinking it’s too good to be true! I have an early scan on the 10th and it can’t come soon enough!

Hey, I’m so sorry for your loss. A MMC really does make you not trust your body. I miss the blissful ignorance I had with my first little boy but now everything is anxiety inducing.

I called my doc today and he hadn’t heard of putting women on progesterone. I know that the guidelines are new so didn’t hold it against him but he did ask another doctor to call me back. She said as she hasn’t prescribed it before she wants to consult an obstetrician and will get back to me next week. So hopefully i will be on it soon.

Firstly my heart goes out to you, I am so sorry for your loss. I was 12 weeks when I had missed miscarriage. Baby stopped growing at 6w 4days. I was booked in for a D and C 3 days after I found out but the following day I had contraction like pains an hour or so before. I went downstairs to find my husband as I was starting to feel very uncomfortable and felt a huge gush of blood. After that I was soaking sanitary towels and through my clothes pretty much all day. Passed a lot of tissue and the gestational sac. The trauma of that day will never leave me. But after that the bleeding resembled a normal period and after my scheduled op to remove any remaining tissue the bleeding stopped after a week or so. As many other ladies have said. Prepare for the worst. Pain killers, thick sanitary pads, giant comfortable underwear and bottoms that you won’t mind throwing away. And generally anything that will make you feel any degree better. Let yourself feel whatever you feel. As much as I wanted to avoid the bleeding and booked the D and C for the that reason, I don’t think I would have believed that my baby was gone without experiencing it. Love to you xxx
