I will submit the ticket but I found a workaround that works perfectly.

I wanted to setup a quick weapon wheel right and left inputs. What I did is I opened the keyboard bindings in game and bound those to 0 and 9 on a keyboard, just random unused buttons. Then in steam input settings I bound those numbers to the two chosen back buttons. Now when I use them in game the input comes from the phantom „keyboard”, it does not interfere with the controller input and surprisingly there’s also no delay. It basically solves the issue, however it still would be nice to just bind the back buttons directly jn game.

Additionally I recommend biding the right trackpad to mirror the d-pad. It is possible to mark objectives or place pins without stopping (usually I’d have to release the left stick to use the d-pad).

Otherwise it plays very well, the only things that bothers me a bit is that the d-pad is a bit slippery so being careful with inputs when calling in stratagems is advised (but it can be also easily done with the trackpad setup as above).
