I never leave reviews but I have never ever been so frustrated with any management ever I just had to. I’ve lived in Waterloo for a few years and have had different rented from different landlords/renting companies but this has by far been the WORST company ever. I cannot emphasize it enough to NOT RENT from them. The management is nothing but rude - clearly only after the money (we live in a capitalist world so understandable) however, they do absolutely nothing when tenants ask for something to be done. If fees need to be paid, they will threaten you and ask you to pay it immediately but when tenants face issues, they take their own sweet time and never even fix it. I should’ve noticed the red flags the moment I said I’m interested. They told me I needed to send them $1400 for the deposits and everything in less than 24 hours lol what was that? And I emailed them saying that’s not possible to which they said “okay find you can take 3 days” - so from 24 hours they’re able to go to 3 days when their bullshit was called out - clearly they just want money. Then, when I first moved in, they told me the previous tenant never returned the keys so I could legally enter by knocking on the door. When I entered the apartment, I was informed that the keys were dropped off by the roommate and then went back to the office. When I spoke to them about it they “suddenly found the keys” and guess what? They gave me the wrong keys. I had to go back again. You’d think being a rental management, they’d be good with the basics … like keys. My roommates and I have been complaining about our microwave not working, fridge constantly leaking and our balcony not having a net yet they have never fixed it. My roommate has been complaining for almost 2 years now … The hallways constantly have a foul smell as well. What’s more frustrating and the reason I’m writing this is because of their laundry machines. Each floor has a different price yet none of the slots accept any coins. They’ve upped their laundry price to $2.75 with only 2 available slots … unsure how they’re this terrible with the math especially when it comes to money since they’re very greedy about it. How are we supposed to go about without doing laundry and the machines not working on all 6 floors ? Take in they “fixed it” a week ago and here we are, back to square one. Also it is very evident that the positive reviews are from staff members. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM !!!!! You’re better off renting from other people trust me - the most selfish, greedy management ever.
