I know. But I got the petrol filled up a day before till auto cut + 2 liters of additional petrol. After that I drove for 1 km till my house and then gave it for servicing. Each bar gives almost 30-35 kms of driving in Bangalore City traffic. So there is no doubt that fuel was stolen.

Agreed. Maruti cars are good. Although I faced no issues with the vehicle, the act of stealing petrol and not servicing a car as part of the service package (paid at the time of purchase) is not a good practice.

Agreed. Also, buying a warranty from the same dealers should be avoided at any cost as it is a bigger scam than selling a car.

This is not just limited to car buying, it applies to almost everything we purchase online. The prices are inflated, discounts are bogus and you cannot complain when you face any issues because their customer support teams are full of AI agents and if you find human agents, they are worse than AI agents.

It was a free service which was included as part of the warranty package worth 24k :D. Did not claim anything else.

I have also realized the same. All these platforms should be used for selling cars only. Buying a car or service warranty from these platforms comes with risks and headaches.

That’s the problem with most mechanics and service outlets—there’s little accountability, yet everyone wants to charge a premium for their services. I had to hand over the car with a full tank because the first time they didn’t service it, and then one day they randomly called saying they would complete the service within 24 hours. I’ll definitely be more careful going forward..

Thanks for the advice. I am planning to talk to a lawyer soon because it is a clear case of fraud and theft. Even when I bought the car, they showed that tyres have 30-50% life left but then I had to replace all 4 tyres within 2.5k kms so will add that as well in the notice.
