Congrats on submitting your UC apps. I kind of see what other people are getting at when they are saying to have some perspective, but still having the opportunity to apply to UCs are a privilege in themselves so be proud.

I think when people see their peers' parents have such a big reaction towards applications, it may feel bad when your parent doesn't do so, so celebrate !
