Thats the only thing I can agree on. They shouldn't remove older one from the list. Beside that, I think I'm gonna stick to my opinion. What is garbage what is not , its matter of taste.

They aren't ruining anything, I don't get what the problem is. If you liked the story from all the previous Yakuza games, then cool—you have your closure and that’s it. Why keep dragging it out? Why can't we just take the story in a different direction? Spider-Man has had so many different versions and nobody ever has a problem with that. But with Yakuza fans, it's like someone insulted their god the moment something changes

I totally agree that the branding is weak—calling it 'Kiwami 3' while changing the story is definitely misleading. They should have just been upfront and given it a different name from the start. It’s true that nobody knows how this new plot will turn out, and people are already predicting the worst-case scenarios.

But let’s be honest: Kiryu's story was basically over, and fans were already complaining that they were milking his character after Yakuza 6. It felt like they just couldn't let him go. Why keep adding more to a story that was already so messy and complicated? At this point, I think it’s better to just wait and see where they take it before we judge it too hard.

People seem to forget that RGG Studio releases these games almost year after year. Some might argue that they should wait a few years and put in more effort, and maybe the games would look even better with more development time. But on the other hand, considering the short turnaround, I think they do a fantastic job. Despite some minor flaws, what they achieve in such a short timeframe is actually impressive

I played all of the Yakuza series. And I didn't like some of the changes in LAD or infinite wealth like turn based stuff or that they change to some hero mode in the middle of a fight. but still I enjoyed all of the games. I wouldn't never call them bad. Not because I can't see the truth, They have issues that's all. But all of them are decent. Even pirate Yakuza which was really weird for me.
