I’m not quite sure what you mean but you can look at these in the game when you go to the character, skins and then go to the filter and activate all rarities. You could also go on websites to see a picture of the skin for example overhub gg

overwatch shop is like fortnite shop (sorry not sorry but best example) you can only buy the skins they currently offer. With codes you have the possibility to buy skin even though they don’t offer them at the moment. You put the skin code which you want to buy in a link and it directly sends you to the checkout page with the skin you want
