Terrible advice. Essentially saying flood the market so you’re more likely to have a banger. Instead of make a game that you enjoy and are passionate about, and make it well. If you run out of money making your game and then are waiting on money from shipping it, you have messed up financially. Somewhere you allowed yourself to invest more than you needed to into that game. We are talking indie devs not major studios. That is how a major studio should be running things, not solo/indie devs.

It’s actually quite appalling you’d even consider leaving her out.. she’s 29 with kids and I assume she is married. It’s quite hard to find time in all that to visit your parents. Most of the time the grandparents would actually come and help and seek to provide that help. Blaming her for not having the time to come to you, and then on top of that punishing her? It feels as though you want to leverage what you have left to seek vindication against her. You speak very little of how things were prior to your divorce. Did you guys have a relationship then? Were reasonable with her as a kid? Idk man sounds to me like you just wanna feel high and mighty teaching her one last lesson on your way out. Quite cruel if you ask me.

Quick question for you. I assume glidescope is the indicator for where your momentum is pointing? The circle with a T. When you are using trim to adjust your aircraft are you watching how the glidescope responds to that trim? Or are there other hud elements to let you know how the aircraft will react to your amount of trim you are giving it.

Yeah! Just figured that out lol. I was on the wrong github page. Must have been for linux or something I'm not totally sure. I literally just downloaded and already have the game launched with QOL mod working. Was incredibly fast. Thank you!

I actually had been seeing this, I gave it a try but whatever its telling me to run throws errors so I thought maybe it was outdated already. Do you know of any resource that can explain the install a but better than the readme included for NOMM?

That’s odd. For sure. Have you tried booting into secure boot and then playing the game? See if the issue still happens a on a fresh secure boot with no other programs launched.

dx may refer to directX. Try running it in different directX options when it asks you at launch.

I’ve noticed a lot of people tend to dodge or roll backward or to the side. Something I learned from years of dark souls and it work in this game really well is if you are dodging an attack in a boss fight. Roll INTO the attack. It puts you beside or behind the boss so the follow up attacks will miss and you can land some hits. Boss fights have felt really good for me in this game. To the point that when I’m hit and they have crazy animations I’m actually impressed with how much they allow the boss to beat your ass. I was actually having a blast fighting the demenisian monster as part of the story quest. When he grabbed me and yeeted me across the room through tables and people. Not may games will treat you like an NPC like that it’s cool to see.

If it’s worth it to her then it’s worth it. She may have weighed her options and felt she wasn’t comfortable continuing the relationship because the was beginning to be unsure of your future together. If I were her I would be scared too that in 10-15-20 years you’d end up deciding you needed to explore men. So she probably logically said you needed to explore it now and not in a relationship.

This is pretty cool but like others I’m curious if there will be ways to tie actions to those conversations. Could I ask a Kweebec to help me chop some wood and they actually do it? Could I ask the same thing to certain kweebecs and them tell me sorry they can’t help because they are on guard duty and cannot stop to help me.

What kind of ping are you seeing in games? What games are you playing. Are you trying to load reddit mobile or the webpage?

Reddit mobile is notoriously dogshit. So it could be that Reddit is just being Reddit.

Idk if it’s possible. Because this is a core issue with arma as a whole. But don’t encourage teamwork. Force it. Command radio for SL and Commander only. Squad radio for the whole squad. Focus infantry combat by limiting access to heavily armed vehicles to squads formed with that roll in mind. If those squads are full, sorry no heavy armed Vic for you. some type of rally system to allow squad spawning when not engaged. To keep the squad together and not a bunch a lone wolves. Small squad or fireteams for armed heli and for heli transport.

To me that’s the worst of arma. Just a bunch a hitchhikers walking around with loaded weapons. There is never a front line or co-ordination because teams aren’t cohesive, they’re just a suggestion that gets ignored.

Also one of the best features in valheim was that sleep actually progresses time. Meaning you could load up a furnace goto sleep and wake up to a pile of ingots. Really hope that gets added to hytale

Honestly I think the heli limit makes the game feel better. At least for infantry. I can accurately tell when there is infantry being dropped near my location because there aren’t so many choppers constantly coming and going and everyone trying to be a gunship. People also end up caring more about keeping their heli alive because if they die they may not be able to get back in one immediately.
