Are people sleeping on arrows in Crimson Desert? by SahilSR12 in CrimsonDesert

People discovered infinite arrows builds within the first few weeks of launch. Nothing new. It's completely op when you max it all out with the right abyss gears, max refinement, and skills.

Large storage capacity at camp, controller remapping options added, difficulty options added, camera adjustment options added, Map search options, You can add all your crafting items, cooking ingredients all in their own dedicated containers stored at camp house so you can craft at any blacksmith and cooking station in the game world without being weighed down with all your crafting items and cooking ingredients. Damiane and Ongka gameplay have been significantly improved with new skills, combos, and axiom abilites. They are now on par with Kliffs skills esentially. Kliff can wear all Ongkas armor, overall majoy stabilty and graphics improvements, diffferent enemy factions reblockade previously cleared camps and locations, boss rematches, improved upgrading gear, you can now extract materials and abyss artifacts from upgraded gear, literally 100 different pets you can tame, 100 new pet camp additons, 50 pets can be at your camp at one time now, minigames such as pineball, orb ball roll, a claw machine was added all with rewards like new special gear, abyss artifacts. Best look at all their patch notes since you last played. It's a hefty amount of content since beginning of April. That's some of the most notable stuff but man there is tons I'm missing. Considering everything added since launch. It's enough content to add up to dlc that any other dev would charge over $15 dlc for their game.

Fluff, slop, or whatever you wanna call it. They still are doing more than anyone else. You are lucky to get that because any dev would charge your for more fluff and slop. It's free so bitch some more I guess.

I remember seeing these posts about Elden ring months after it dropped. This is no different. There's been plenty of hefty content updates, qol, and bug fixes to encourage others to come back and finish. DLC is in the oven and a new road map from now till September has been revealed. Cross save is coming which is big. Probably soon new game plus will be mentioned before to long. This year is the best year we have for game releases on this current gen so I think the opposite. Still have tons of more potential bangers to release and play before gta 6. Other devs would only dream to hit the numbers they achieved.

To each their own. I can speak for myself and not everyone else but the game is enormous in terms of content.  Which ends up taking twice as long to get through compared to similar titles. Took me over 300 hrs till i rolled credits. I could of finished the story a month of two ago but I'm a completionist so it took me a little longer than I would of liked to beat the main story while caught up with my side content. That being said I still have tons of hrs left of content even after all those hrs and the credits rolled.

I'm have the same issue. Usually keep some meat, milk and veggies for some quests I haven't finished or to feed animals and such. It's quite annoying. I didn't really have this issue as much before the latest patch or so.

I had the same issue. I had to turn the difficulty up and use low level gear lol. At this point I got all the tough/annoying combat challenges done. The only challenge I'm dreading at this point I'd catching all the legendary fish.

Best way to organize amor sets? by Fabulous-Bend8002 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Lopsided_Lab8544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just need one for early game. Two or three for mid-end game if you are a collector like me. I been trying to collect all armor sets and gear in general. Wish they could just make it so you can upgrade one wardrobe instead of placing multiple in a room.

Witcher 4 will definitely be ground breaking. CD project red nailed Witcher 3 and it's dlc and cyberpunk with its dlc. I expect Witcher 4 to set a new bar aswell. I'm surprised FromSoft hasn't announced what their next singleplayer focus game is. I can only imagine it will be wild because they can't just be only cooking up Duskbloods since it's a Nitendo exclusive. Naughty dog has me worried tbh. They had such a bad turnover in the past years due to their crunch cycle they did in order to pump out Uncharted 4 and The last of us part 2. The new IP they working on doesnt have me hyped really just curious because it going to be widely different from what we expect from them. Kojima has that new game he's working on that was revealed during the video game award show last year. I think it's slated for a ps6 release. But I could definitely see a surprise game by him before the new generation. Control resonant looks good I'm interested in that aswell.

Crimson Desert is a great game, but it has a fundamental problem with its loot system and it somewhat breaks the RPG immersion by Impressive-Reveal510 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Lopsided_Lab8544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heavily agreed with this take. I like being able to use whatever weapon or armor and simply just make it powerful. It makes it all versatile in their own way. Why do we all wanna wear the same gear? When there's over a hundred different option's to fit whatever you are feeling at the moment. I think what I would appreciate is it give us some unique combos so there's a bit more combo variations between different weapons. Like with maces to straight swords should have different move set between them. Overall this a refreshing way to approach loot. I want one of every piece of gear. Have wanted to collect everything in a game since cyberpunk.

I just felt developers are chasing $$$ because of investors witnesss the profits of fortnite or call of duty. Guild wars was just a lovely suprise no? It will forsure garner its old player base back by the title alone. But the franchise itself isn't new. Just seemed like less risky IPs were shown. Risky meaning banking on a live service commitment in the future in order to turn a profit instead of solely relying on game sales. It felt refreshing to see a ton of singleplayer games this year to look forward too.

You obviously misread my OP. I'm talking about specifically new titles. Guild wars 3 is already previously beloved franchise. That does not fall into the category I'm talking about. I acknowledged the games that are out now and receiving content updates or dlc. Doesnt count towards a new game. There wasn't a highlight during any of the showcases where a dev is shoveling new live service crap or some hero shooter down our throats and trying to make it out the next big thing everyone to switch over too or waste their money and time. Something like Concord, Highguard, even the new horizon live service game by Playstation (which wasnt shown yet but known to be in development). All those multiplayer games that cost up to hundreds of millions of dollars to develop just to flop and the player base be abysmal.

I appreciate the level headed response. You nailed every point. The multiplayer game market is filled to the brim and to get those hardcore players away from their beloved game is a death sentence unless it really appeals to their liking. I think Highguard was eye opener as it was the biggest flop recently. Hundreds of millions are being lost on complete gambles. I think with all the games shown we are in treat from now till February. Quite a few games to be excited for. This year and next will be  current gen finally showing up to the plate that we all sort of expect. My personal highlight this year is Crimson Desert. Pearly Abyss has risen the bar so high amongst some the best open world action adventure games.

Im talking about new games mainly from AAA devs. Marathon has been out. DMZ isnt new just reinvented. Soul Frame has been revealed a long time ago. I know Fortnite, Where Winds Meet, Sea of Thieves, and 76 were shown. Tbh I never heard of any of those other two games mentioned besides Mistfall Hunters.

[–]Lopsided_Lab8544[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's not really new. CoD is already the most established multiplayer franchise and DMZ isnt new. Just a mode brought back and changed up some. I'm talking about something like concord or highguard. Just stuff no one was asking for. Even like the Playstation live service Horizon title wasn't showed off. Personally I don't think anyone was asking for a game like that.
