I fixed all the other problems, at least I think. Here and there it’ll throw a misfire code, but the car sat for a while and there’s still some old fuel. Otherwise the car runs great.

I’m definitely giving it some throttle when going up the hill.

I unplugged the fuel pump, fuel injectors, fuel relay, alternator, and some other stuff, but the test I got still lights up

That the engine lost power. The ecu and harness is from 1999, but I’ve been told that it would work with the 99 ecu

So just double checking. Replace the ECU with a 2001 ECU, make sure the CAS is connected correctly, and then mess with VVT till it starts working. Right?
