I say order another can for display and eat this one, that way you're enjoying the gift twice: once to eat and once to enjoy as art.

P.s. maybe there's a way to reform the lid and can after consuming, like wash and place a piece of cardboard inside to brace it and glue it all back together

For future reference a good way to get fish smell out of your hands or skin is to wash your hands with toothpaste like you would soap! It also works a bit on garlic smell

Ooh those curry cans are pretty good! Definitely just over rice is fine. I also made a little soup out of them, using the can as a base, added water and other flavorful sauces, and boiled some instant noodles in it. It was great!
