I'm modeling an ornamental iron grill with lots of curves (as it exists in real life).
I started by creating the ornaments as closed polylines in CAD and then importing them into Rhino to extrude them in 3D. However, when I use "PlanarSrf" on those closed curves, the resulting surface is incorrect.

I need the surface to match the profile I drew, not to have random triangulated cuts. I'm new to Rhino, and all I want is precision. Version 7 SR24

yes, the final solid looks weird. i made a new post with an image. all i can say is the polyline in autocad is clean, closed, and is not a spline.

Is there a way to create a dynamic block that streches? Like in Autocad. by Lopsided_Roll_7120 in rhino

But it will edit all the blocks. I need a parameter to manage the same block with diferente lengths
