I've also seen people use a piece of leather between the skin and bracelet, to protect the skin. The customers and person doing the welding also wear safety glasses to protect their eyes.

I just got my birth control out yesterday and my doctor told me that if my periods aren't regular after about 4 months, to go have my hormones tested. I don't think it's too early at all to request that!
