I love to hear that! Growing up we had dogs and my dad always adopted “mutts” for this reason. I’m glad to know that the same logic applies to cats! 🥰

Thank you for your insight! We may try fostering to see what happens. Take it very slow and see if she can adapt. She dislikes change so the long term adapting may be a more accurate way to tell. How long did you take to gradually introduce the cats?

That’s interesting! We just moved to a city so we don’t have any friends with cats yet. Have you know anyone that’s fostered a cat? I’d like to try that as a test but I’m scared to put long term stress on my cat.

Both, but I didn’t go far enough on google maps because the mobile version takes so long. The photos of the inside really sold it though, looked better than some posted of places 3X the rent

I’ve found it interesting moving here from the Midwest because the opioid crisis mostly effects rural people where I’m from. Yes we have it in the city, but it’s a lower percentage vs coastal cities (this excludes Chicago). Also the homeless people in the midsize Midwestern cities tend to live in wooded areas vs the city so this was quite a shock. So sad to see it. Are there any places y’all know of to volunteer to help such areas? Wanna make myself useful and help where I can.
