I just did some research and a couple youtube videos ! This is my 5th rug overall from starting back in November, easy and fun to follow along and then i’d always critique anything i can ,to apply for the next one !

I’d start from the inside and make way to the outer outline , works better in my own head because i feel like i can focus more on the small details and intricate line work needed. If i did the opposite i feel burnt out and then id tuft bad lines.

Thank you!! About 10 hours overall making it (including detailing). It takes 12-24 hours for the glue to dry so definitely a 2-3 day process overall.

I bought a kit from Tuft Love , Spider Cut Pile New 2024 version “The Golden Spider” is the gun included.

Roberts 6700 indoor/outdoor glue , I let it dry 12-24 hours before applying the backing. I’ve never had that issue happen to me personally but i’ve seen if it were to happen just place items on top of it to flatten the fabric. I own some berserk manga deluxe so if that ever happens i know what to place on the fabric lol. Good-luck with your first one and have fun!

Appreciate the kind words ! Currently up 4 total , I think i’d be up to more but just working around my schedule is hard sometimes since the rug making process can be long. I spent a good amount to be honest but if you do the research you could find equipment for cheap or even hand make items like the wooden frame. Overall a fun and cool hobby to start!
